First Huge New Build of 2023 Released!

We are thrilled to announce a series of exciting updates for Panzerdogs. The level cap has been increased to 25, allowing players to progress further and unlock new and powerful weapons.

One of the most significant changes is the introduction of weapon classes. Every turret now has a class of weapon that defines its base firing behavior. There are five classes in total: Standard Rifle, Light Gun, Heavy Cannon, Burst Rifle, and Scattergun. Each class has its unique strengths and weaknesses, allowing players to choose the weapon that best fits their playstyle.

In addition to the new weapon classes, we have also made several changes to the tradeoffs for each part to allow for a more balanced gameplay experience. We have also added new weapon sounds for each class, making each shot even more satisfying.

Turn rate and aim rate have both been increased by 16%, making aiming and turning faster, while the boost speed has been increased and untied from base speed, giving every tank's boost the same speed unless modified by part stats. The boost stats have also been modified on parts that affected boost.

We have also made improvements to the in-game experience, including a zoomed-out camera, new holospray emotes, added animation to the respawn screen, and game end celebration effects. The UI has been adjusted and fixed, and players can now customize their calling cards to show off their unique style.

The maps have also undergone some changes, with the Dugout's arena map having dead ends removed and lower grass placement changed, while the Elevate's arena map has been made smaller with more impactful breakable bridges and added edges to shoot over.

Finally, we have overhauled the in-game ammo and health displays to be clearer and larger, added new kill feed icons based on the death cause, and introduced multi-kill announcements and "First Blood" and "Wipe Out" announcements.
