How did we successfully launch our 2nd NFT drop?
Starting 2022 by hitting another milestone with Panzerdogs.
Q4 2021: Sold 5555 Panzerdogs NFTs on the marketplace on our website.
Q1 2022: Panzerdogs NFT holders received a free Tank NFT
Right on schedule. Following up the original launch of 5555 Panzerdogs NFT avatars, we have successfully rolled out our 2nd NFT drop: Tank NFTs. Only available for holders (people with a Panzerdogs NFT avatar in their wallet) from the first drop. But, completely free.
By taking a random snapshot during a fixed time period (5 days), we gave holders the chance to be eligible for a free Tank NFT. This gave owners of any Panzerdogs NFT the option to delist their avatar from Marketplaces, such as magiceden.io, fractal.is, or solanart.io. On the other side also giving anyone without any Panzerdogs NFT the opportunity to opt in, thus getting a free Tank NFT. Or even multiple free tanks.
Our Tank NFTs are built up out of multiple parts, each with different rarity. Currently these are: Common, Uncommon, Rare, and Epic. The rarity of the Panzerdogs NFT avatar gives the holder a higher chance getting more rare tank parts. It’s still a chance, so not a guaranty of getting Epic, Rare, or even Uncommon parts.
The rarity of each tank part, then again, is coupled to different in-game abilities. Using the Tank NFTs in PvE (Player versus Enemy) or PvP (Player versus Player) multiplayer allows players to utilise special abilities, such as shields, speed boosts and much more.
To check how rare a tank is, we’ve added a Rarity Bot to our Discord channel and added our Panzerdogs Tank NFTs to howrare.is.
Our main focus for Panzerdogs has always been the game itself. That is why we’re working hard towards an alpha build and will be giving players the possibility to use their Tank NFTs in our Public Demo (which already allows Panzerdogs NFT avatars to be used).
