Cadets! We are back with a brand new Panzerdogs tournament. This time we’re teaming up with Fractal, the first digital marketplace to focus on gaming NFTs. Fractal is founded by industry veterans and serial entrepreneurs in gaming and e-commerce, including Justin Kan, who was previously co-founder of Twitch.

In the Panzerdogs x Fractal tournament we have another huge prize pool: $2500 worth of SOL, as well as Fractal and Panzerdogs NFTs. This time we’re using a different prize distribution system using raffle tickets. Raffle tickets are giving out every 48 hours, depending on your leaderboard ranking and leaderboard score (scroll down for details about the ticket distribution).

Everyone can compete in the tournament, which only requires you to connect with a Fractal Wallet. With a Fractal Wallet you can jump into the game right away and engage in 3 versus 3 online deathmatch battles. Owning a Panzerdogs NFT or Panzerdogs Tank NFT is not required to play.

Using your own tanks does however give you the unique stats and abilities. If you have your Panzerdogs Tanks (and/or Panzerdogs) staked on our official website, you’ll need to transfer them to your Fractal Wallet to use them during the tournament. Don’t worry we’re pausing staking. By doing so we’re maintaining the distribution percentage, which will ensure everyone who has Panzerdogs and/or tanks staked keeps the same percentage of cPANZR and share in PANZR. Staking will be re-enabled once the tournament ends.

If you don’t own a Panzerdog yet, these are available on secondary marketplaces, such as Fractal. You’ll be able to play with your own Panzerdog and Panzertanks if you put these in your Fractal Wallet (if you don’t own a dog or tank you’ll get assigned a standard one).

New Users

Press Connect Wallet, and select Fractal Wallet (Recommended);
If you don’t have a Fractal Wallet yet, you’ll be asked to set a Fractal username;
You’re now ready to play Panzerdogs! If you don’t have a Panzerdogs and/or tank you’ll be assigned a standard avatar and/or tank with basic stats and abilities. (Check https://www.fractal.is/panzerdogs to buy Panzerdogs and tanks.)

Panzerdogs Avatar / Tanks Holders

Press Connect Wallet, and select Fractal Wallet (Recommended);
If you don’t have a Fractal Wallet yet, you’ll be asked to set a Fractal username;
Go to https://www.panzerdogs.io/staking and unstake your dogs/tanks.
Transfer the dogs/tanks you want to use during the tournament to your Fractal Wallet address.

*At the moment the Fractal wallet does not support our staking system. Therefor staking is paused during the full duration of the Panzerdogs x Tournament. By doing this we will maintain the distribution percentage for all current staking, thus this won’t affect the cPANZR pool and upcoming PANZR distribution.

Prizes

At the end of the tournament we’ll hand out all the prizes in the prize pool, which will be rewarded using a raffle. The more raffle tickets you have the higher your chance to win a (big) prize.

Together with Fractal the prize pool includes $2500 worth of SOL, 5 Fractal NFTS (1 Hexa, 2 Penta and 3 Quad*), and 10 Panzerdogs Tank NFTs.

*The current floor price for Fractal NFTs on 1 June 2022 was 19 SOL for Hexa, 3.5 SOL for Penta, and 0.45 SOL for Quad.

Raffle Tickets

During the tournament playing gives you points. Killing enemies, assisting kills, winning and losing games all add up to your total leaderboard score. For every 100 points (equals winning about 3/4 matches) rewards you with 1 raffle ticket.

Also your position on the leaderboard rewards you with raffle tickets. The leaderboard resets every 48 hours (at 08:00 PT / 11:00 ET / 17:00 CEST). To avoid grinding we’re using an Energy System, which allows you to play a maximum amount of matches. Every 48 hours the Energy System resets.

New Map, New Weapon, New Servers

New Map: Astro — New team death match arena situated in an abandoned moon base, complete with forcefields to mix things up a bit;
New Weapon: Machine Gun — Simple but effective, the machine gun is great at tearing tanks to shreds at range;
Server Regions: You can now pick between 3 regions in order to ensure the best connection for combat: US, Europe and Asia.

User Account System: Sign up to our new user account system to be able to connect your wallet, and store account specific information.

Game Balance Changes:

Max health increases were felt too insignificant for many cases, so for the most part max HP buffs will be altered, including the following:

Behemoth tracks +25% -> +30%
Plated Tracks +7.5% -> +10%
Ranger Tracks — 5% -> -6%
Steadfast Chassis +12.5% -> +15%
Steady Chassis +6% -> +8%
Plated Turret +7.5% -> +9%

Plated Tracks

Turn rate decreased from -7.5% to -10%

Diet Chassis

Move speed decreased from +12.5% to +10%

Siege Chassis

Incoming damage reduction while engaged reduced from -40% to -35% — This was really strong before.

Heavy Turret

Fire rate increased from -12% to -10%,
Reload rate decreased from -8% to -10%

Scatter Turret

Spread cone angle increased from 7.5 degrees to 8 degrees

Disclaimer

- The Fractal Raffle competition will run from Thursday 2nd of June 2022 08:00 PT / 11:00 ET / 17:00 CEST to Thursday 16th of June 2022 08:00 PT / 11:00 ET / 17:00 CEST.
- Leaderboards are completed and reset every 48 hours after competition start.
- A snapshot will be taken when a leaderboard ends in order to determine ticket distribution among the players.
- Prizes and Leaderboard Tickets will be distributed to the account and linked wallet that has been used to play during that time.
- Prizes will be drawn in the order outlined within the 'Prize Pool' by randomly selecting an account, weighted by the percentage of the total ticket supply they hold.
- Once an account has been awarded a prize, they are no longer eligible for further draws.
- Prizes will be awarded on the second business day following the completion of the competition.
- In the case of a tie on the leaderboard, the ticket prizes will be split equally between all tied players.
- If any players fall under suspicion of fraudulent activity, Lucky Kat has the right to investigate and remove the player from the leaderboard and competition once confirmed.
- Lucky Kat reserves the right to modify or suspend the promotion at any time.
